The "FR-D"—originally introduced as the world's first dedicated RWD drift chassis featuring an FR layout—has returned as the 7th generation model: the "FR-D7." While closely adhering to the core concept of the original FR-D, the FR-D7 is a brand-new model featuring a complete redesign and reconfiguration of approximately 80% of its key components. Moving away from the traditional "Conversion Kit" format, it is now released as a "Core Kit"—a package that, while not a complete full kit, offers a significantly more comprehensive and enhanced set of included components.

■ A newly designed aluminum steering wiper that achieves an ideal Ackermann geometry through adjustable protrusion and opening angles.
■ The front 4-gear drive system incorporates a new aluminum holder, POM gears, and J-SPEC bearings.
■ A high-rigidity aluminum bulkhead that integrates the single-sided aluminum lower and upper arms, as well as the shock towers.
■ Features a newly designed, split-type front and rear closed gear case. Compared to previous models, the case height has been lowered by 4mm, and the output shaft positioning has been optimized.
■ Includes a lightweight aluminum center drive shaft with adjustable length, eliminating the need to swap shafts when changing the wheelbase.
■ Features an adjustable carbon battery holder designed specifically for short LiPo batteries, allowing for various layouts and fine-tuning adjustments.
■ Adopts the newly designed Dual Composite Shock Tower V4, featuring revised mounting positions for the upper arms.
■ Includes a lightweight ball differential, internal gear case bearings, a carbon ESC plate, and 50mm suspension shafts.
