GRK5 or GS2 EVO
By changing the fixed position of the motor mount and the connection position of the upper deck, conversion is possible from either GRK5 or GS2EVO!
Battery holder
The battery is mounted as high as possible so that it is close to the center of gravity of the motor.
When in the highest position, the battery can be mounted 11.5mm higher than the main chassis.
The battery can be adjusted in height and left/right by inserting spacers into the battery holder.
It can be positioned approximately 2mm further inward than the innermost position of GRK5.
Steering related
The servo mount is made from aluminum, providing a firm steering feel!
The chassis has a hole that allows for the addition of a steering post, so by adding a post, the rigidity around the front end can be further increased!
In the case of the GS2 EVO, the aluminum servo mount is floated and fixed to the main chassis in the center, ensuring uniform rigidity on both sides.
A plastic servo mount or a 2-way aluminum servo mount can be fixed to this aluminum servo mount.
Vibration Control
Vibrations generated by the motor are transmitted from the suspension mount to the suspension arm and then to the tires, resulting in loss of traction. This is reduced by fixing the motor mount and gear case to a separate rear plate.
The suspension mount and rear plate are not in contact with each other.
At the same time, the position of the gear case was raised and the angle of the universal shaft was optimized.
Hunting is controlled by adding many slits to the space where the gyro is installed, creating a structure that makes it difficult for vibrations to be transmitted directly.
Chassis Brace
To increase rigidity in the roll direction, an aluminum chassis brace has been added to the rear side.
Lighter front
It uses high-rigidity 3mm carbon fiber, but the front overhang area has been boldly hollowed out to reduce weight.
The front width has also been narrowed to account for chassis roll.
The kit includes:
